Early Learning Groups

The Early Learning Group is a play-based, preschool-readiness group, designed to help prepare toddlers for the preschool experience. These groups are taught by two qualified therapists and provide children with valuable social opportunities that include developmentally appropriate activities as well as individualized education and therapeutic support as needed.

Groups are composed of no more than six children and at least two teachers. An observation room allows family members to observe their child’s participation in the program without actually being in the classroom.

Weekly sessions last one hour and include sensory and motor activities, art activities, pretend play, outdoor play, snacks, music and movement experiences. The staff implements a theme-based curriculum incorporating developmentally appropriate practices with a focus on social interaction and communication skills.
